How we approach mould
- Inspect. We look at the extent of the growth and the likely moisture source.
- Contain. The work area is isolated to limit spores spreading to clean areas.
- Remove and clean. Affected materials are removed or treated and surfaces cleaned.
- Report. You get documentation of the work for your records, insurer or property manager.
Mould and asbestos together
In older properties, water damage often affects wall linings and flooring that may contain asbestos. Please don't start pulling out wet sheeting until it has been checked. We can test suspect materials, remove damaged bonded asbestos and carry out mould remediation, so one team handles both hazards.
Fixing the cause
Mould returns if the moisture source isn't fixed. We'll point out the likely cause, such as a leak, poor ventilation or drainage, so you can have it repaired by the right trade.
