The hazard is often hiding above the leak.
This is suspected asbestos cement sheeting under the tiles, found from the roof space while tracing a leak. It looks harmless until someone cuts, drills or pulls it out. We stop, sample and test before anything is disturbed.

Tell us the build era, the material and its condition for general guidance on what to do next. It's a starting point, not a test result.
Answer three quick questions
- Asbestos was widely used in Queensland homes until the late 1980s.
- You can't reliably identify asbestos by looking at it.
- Sampling and laboratory analysis is the only way to know for sure.
General guidance only. This checker is not a substitute for asbestos testing or a professional inspection, and it can't tell you whether a material contains asbestos. If in doubt, treat it as asbestos and don't disturb it.
Five steps. No surprises.
Every licensed removal follows the same controlled process, from first call to clearance paperwork.
Tell us about the job
Call, email or use the intake form. A few photos and a rough idea of the size of the area help us give you an accurate quote.

Inspection & written quote
We look at the material, its condition, access and quantity. If it's unclear whether something contains asbestos, we'll recommend testing first.
- Samples analysed by a NATA-accredited laboratory
- Clear written quote
- Advice on whether removal is needed at all
Planning & WorkSafe notification

The deciding details, handled.
Asbestos work is only as good as its controls and its paperwork. Here's what you can expect on every job.
- Control plan & WorkSafe notificationWe prepare the asbestos removal control plan and notify WorkSafe QLD before licensed work starts.
- Air monitoring & clearance arrangedAir monitoring where required, and an independent clearance inspection at the end.
- Meter boards, coordinatedWe work with your electrician so the new board can go straight in.
- Insurer-ready paperworkDocumentation for your insurer, property manager or body corporate.
- Small jobs, odd hoursSmall jobs welcome, with after-hours and weekend work available.
Storm, fire or impact damage? We answer 24/7.
Keep people and pets away. Don't hose, sweep or vacuum broken material. Call us and we'll isolate the area, make it safe and document the work for your insurer or property manager.
Questions we hear every week
Do you handle friable asbestos?
Friable asbestos must be removed by an appropriately licensed removalist. We provide WorkSafe QLD licensed asbestos removal and will advise on the right approach after inspection.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. A single meter board, a few broken fibro sheets or a small bathroom wall are all jobs we're happy to quote.
Can you work after hours or on weekends?
Yes. We can schedule after-hours and weekend work to suit tenants, businesses and busy households, and we respond 24/7 to emergencies.
Can you help with an insurance claim?
We provide documentation of the work for your insurer or property manager, including clearance paperwork at the end of the job.
How do I know if something contains asbestos?
You can't tell reliably by looking. If the property was built or altered before 1990, assume it may contain asbestos until a sample has been tested. We take samples safely and have them analysed by a NATA-accredited laboratory.
Tell us what you've found. We'll take it from there.
